Hi everybody 🖖 I’m super excited to finally bring Use My Code to the world! Thank you @chrismessina for the hunt and all of your invaluable feedback—it was a big help! When I started working on Use My Code, I was really taken aback by the reality that in 2020 the average person literally has thousands of dollars worth of referral codes from all the various apps & services we use. ..Yet we NEVER take advantage of them 🙃 We’re literally missing out on thousands in free Postmates, Lyft rides, Robinhood stocks, you name it—all because we’re not willing to spam our friends with every referral code we get in hopes they might actually use one. That’s where Use My Code comes in. Use My Code automatically shares your referral codes with people who actually need them so both of you can earn. No need to repost or reach out to anyone. Just post one time and you’re good to go. On the flip side of things, I wanted to make finding referral codes easier than ever before. I thought the old system of fumbling through different tabs and web searches to find a working referral code (all while in the middle of signing up for a new service) was downright archaic. @davidmeetsinternet This app is great. Just what I need. So I downloaded it, and wanted to add a new company. When I try to add company logo, a logo upload guide pop up appears and doesn't seem to go away. I'm trying to add the logo. I'm struggling a bit.

@davidmeetsinternet Hey David. Sorry for the slow reply. I tried again, and was able to publish the new code.

@davidmeetsinternet I just got a question. On my Use my code profile, it said I earned $55, however if I want to verify it doesn't show me. When I go to the plum app from where my referral code comes from, it doesn't show the referral earning, so I'm a bit confused.

congrats on launching! love this idea - i actually have a google doc of my many many codes. signed up and started playing - a couple of issues i came across 1) when you leave to go to a different site it returns to the homepage, 2) quit on me when it was sitting idle 3) the XXXX at the bottom - not super clear that's what you should click on to add a code 4) no "X" option to leave the screen when you're trying to add a link/code 5) hard to edit a code with an iphone - and a lot of time when you copy a code from another app it includes extra free text in addition to the link 6) i clicked on a company to add my link and then did so and the next screen i had to select the company - i thought i had already done so? happy to answer any follow up questions - this really is an awesome concept!! suggestion - would be great as a chrome extension like honey / rakuten. also - how do the codes get ranked? which one shows first? is it a random rotation?
