It all started with an unexpected sight on a weekend drive on a clear day. I was driving along the A2 towards Barcelona and I spotted the sea peaking between the distant mountains.
The rest of the drive left me wondering: Could I create a tool that could help me discover what is visible from any given point on earth? A new way to discover my horizons and how far I am able to see.
That curiosity led to UpToWhere – a tool that does just that and lets you visualize it in cool ways. Along with other interesting data such as knowing in which exact point of your horizon the sun will rise and set for every month.

The 3D map is pretty cool! I also just did a test from a viewpoint i like to hike to and the result was completely spot on.
