Hey everyone! I am the Founder here at UpEffect. Happy to answer any questions that you might have about our product. UpEffect is a rewards-based crowdfunding and support platform for social good products, kind of like Kickstarter but for mission-driven ideas. The reason why I set out to start the company was because over 50% of crowdfunding campaigns fail, particularly niche products as there are thousands of non-vetted products launching at the same time. Plus, there is a technique to crowdfunding which most first-time entrepreneurs are unaware of. So as Computer scientists, we analysed the data and built an optimised approach to ensure social good products could utilise the benefits of rewards-based crowdfunding and succeed. We launch companies created by inventors with hearts to change the world. We work very similar impact investors in the sense that our due-diligence process vets based on purpose + profit, quantifiable metrics and founder credibility. Selected companies then benefit from our network of crowdfunding experts, social entrepreneurs, marketers, videographers and much more to help them convert their idea into a tangible campaign. We offer a hands-on support process pre and during campaign launch. In the last 11 months, we’ve positively impacted over 10,000 lives in 6 different countries and we plan to launch in another 5 by the end of 2016. We're currently in the middle of launching our next batch of products and are currently engaging with partners to roll out the platform in cities where access to capital is scarce, but innovation is rising!
