Thanks for your questions!
For question 1: the current solution is to extract the colours from the brand images and build an initial palette, based on which the designer can make further optimizations, freely experiment with different colour combinations and reflect the changes directly on the template page, not just on some of the components, and this kind of feedback gives the designer a more intuitive sense of the overall ui design.
It must be acknowledged that colour combinations directly from images may not always be directly pleasing to the designer, but if used as a draft, an initial state, it can help the designer get started much faster.
This is also the answer to question 3, where the designer can quickly settle on a colour palette at the start of the design, including agreeing with the client on the point of a colour palette.
For question 2, multiple color code combinations can be copied directly into figma for use, including the commonly used hsla, hsva, hexa, rgba formats.
Hey,
I'm curious about how it handles accessibility concerns when generating color palettes. Does it offer any guidance on color contrast ratios for better readability?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Thanks for the feedback. Currently, the basic color palette generation is based on the uploaded colors and does not take accessibility into account, which is indeed an issue. Users can manually adjust the base colors to address accessibility concerns. For color contrast ratios, the palette provides a selection of colors similar to those in Tailwind CSS for each color option. However, specific guidance on this aspect is still lacking, and I don't have a clear direction yet. Do you have any suggestions?
I love this site, but it would be great to customize the color using hex input, as it is currently hard to pick a color.
Update: Instant response - thanks for adding hex inputs!
