Hey PH — I’m the co-founder of Tweerl, and we built it out of pure frustration.
Like a lot of people, I was tired of the endless “what do you want to eat?” debates with my friends, family, partner, you name it. We’d scroll through Google Maps, Yelp, TikTok, and somehow still end up hungry and annoyed. I thought — why is deciding where to eat harder than choosing a date?
So we borrowed the magic of swipe-based discovery and built Tweerl — a Tinder-style app for choosing restaurants. You can swipe solo or with friends/your partner until you match on a spot — fast, fun, no overthinking.
And now, I actually use it every day:
— If I’m grabbing lunch alone, I hop into Solo Discover Mode — I just keep swiping until something clicks.
— If I’m out with friends or planning dinner with my partner, we fire up a shared session and swipe together (no more indecision battles!).
— When family visits, I preload places they’d love and we explore together — like a little food adventure.
It’s decision-making made fun again — not a chore. And it’s genuinely helped me enjoy more new spots without the stress.
Would love your thoughts and support today
Happy swiping (and eating),
— Taye
Thanks so much for checking out Tweerl!
We built this to solve a problem almost everyone has felt — the painful “Where should we eat?” conversation. It turns that chaos into something fast, social, and actually fun.
Curious to hear from you all:
— What’s your go-to way of picking a restaurant right now?
— Would you use Solo Mode more or Match Mode with friends/partners?
We’re live and swiping all day — drop any questions, feedback, or even food recs!
Let’s make decision fatigue a thing of the past!
Love this! I struggle with making dinner plans all the time... Might be dinner with my wife or with the whole family or a breakfast/lunch meeting with a client in a faraway place that I'm not familiar with. This will make it SO much easier!
