👋 Hello hunters! :) After around 6 weeks of working evenings and weekends, TubeSafe is online! 😤 Problem I read numerous posts online of YouTube channel owners distraught when YouTube had terminated their account without notice and them losing months or years of their content. This made me build TubeSafe, to protect against this. * YouTube deletes more and more channels more and more often. * Only a small percentage of YouTubers back up their content. * An even smaller percentage back up their live-streamed content. * Google Takeout does not function when YouTube deletes your entire Google account upon Channel termination. 🛠 Solution * A simple way to manually back up your channel (great for non-serious YouTubers who want to archive their family videos). * A simple way to automatically back up ongoing future channel content (great for serious YouTubers). 🛠 Making I built TubeSafe using Python, Postgres, RabbitMQ and Redis for the initial build.
