Gm ProductHunt folks 👋 Ben here, co-founder of Triple. Kevin and I built Triple Payments to solve one of the most annoying problems that we ran into as web3 developers - requesting crypto in a secure and painless way. Sending DMs back and forth on Twitter with the people we were trying to pay on the details of how much to pay, in what token, and to what address, was an extremely frustrating experience. We also never felt 100% confident that the large sums of USDC and ETH we were sending were going to the right person, or that we were not doing something wrong in our Metamask wallet. To solve this problem, we built Triple Payments, a layer on top of your web3 wallet that makes sending and requesting crypto to real people as easy as using Venmo or CashApp. Payers do not need to sign up, can pay in whatever token they happen to have in their wallet (and get it auto-converted), and can pay in partial amounts (amongst multiple payers). We’re also planning to support fiat credit cards as a payment method, so you can continue to stack USDC by invoicing non-crypto users without ever having to touch a bank. With Triple, you can also provably link your Twitter profile to payment requests to give payers peace of mind that they are paying the right person. Our Payment Profiles feature is a super easy way to “background-check” whoever you’re sending crypto to - get a quick-view into their NFT’s, ENS, linked Social Profiles, and transaction history.
