My name is Viktor and I'm the creator of Tradebase - an app where traders and investors can share their stock transactions and personal performance with their peers, publicly or privately.
The idea came to me a couple years ago after I opened my first investment account. Like any amateur stock trader, I would sit at my computer staring at charts and making bad trades one after another. It was evident to me that the opportunity for profit was there, but I was clearly doing it all wrong. The entire time all I wanted to know was what other traders were doing. What were they buying? When where they buying it? And why? Many of the “social investing” apps and websites today are full of chatter and noise. They all have their place, but I wanted something where I could to see transactions because transactions speak louder than words. That’s when I knew I wanted to make Tradebase.
I'm an avid fan and user of the Robinhood app and truly believe in what the team is doing by democratizing access to the financial markets. From day one, I wanted Robinhood to be a key component of Tradebase, so I made it super easy for people to connect their accounts as away to automatically import and verify trades.
