Our mission is to make it as easy as possible to track what you eat and to better understand your diet. I am thrilled to announce the official launch of the Nutritionix Track app on iOS, Android, and Web.
The Track app uses a natural language engine developed and maintained by our registered dietitian team. This engine allows anyone to quickly and accurately track what they eat by speaking or writing natural text. You can log foods to Track using the iOS/Android app, the web app (nutritionix.com/dashboard), SMS, or any Amazon Alexa device with the Nutritionix Alexa skill. Track currently supports syncing your food log to Fitbit, with other data sync providers coming soon.
For anyone interested in trying a demo of the natural language engine before installing the app, you can demo it from your browser here:

Wow I was just about to start working on this! I had the same idea just over 2 years ago. I was using MyFitnessPal and really wanted to be able to dictate or type my food entries all at once. So I had just pulled up that old note and was doing some research, and I'm glad I found this app!
The MFP app is still really inefficient to use every day, and it takes 4 taps before you even get a keyboard up to search for your food. I'm definitely going to switch to using this app. Please make it available worldwide though, I don't have access to the US App Store!
