What do you think? …

UI looks slick! But is it really possible to track so much of your time? What's the goal here?
Mudit Gulati
@idoshamun Thanks Ido! It is not necessary to track all your time. One may just want to track how long they sleep, play video games or do meditation or yoga. And that's alright. The goal is to be mindful of how your time is being spent. The motivation could be either to track your entire day or just couple of specific tasks. Another personal motivation comes from my seemingly weak memory. I often find myself searching through old messages, emails and call logs just to remember when something happened. Keeping a quick running diary through a few button clicks seemed like an easier way out than picking (or to start with - finding) a pen! I agree that it wouldn't be easy to remember to track all your time using this app - but it will be less difficult than doing it without this or any other such app. For this app specifically, the idea was to be able to quickly start the timer without worrying about decision making around organisation (something that I struggled with while using other time tracking apps). I remember when many years back I downloaded Wally to keep track of my expenses. A simple no nonsense app letting me feed in my expenses with a few clicks and showing basic aggregated stats and no fancy charts and graphs. And I also remember when it was 'upgraded' to have all the frills of registering accounts and credit cards and what not. It made me realise that I wanted simple. The goal of this app is to provide that simplicity with recording time. Not sure whether it has come through or not but that's where it started from. I know it's a long reply but thank you for engaging. Cheers!

@vivekweb2013 Thanks Vivek!
Santhosh
That’s a nice usecase.. need to see how easy or automatic to track your activity.. will check out the app
Mudit Gulati
@nsanthosh1 Thanks Santosh! The app currently is to manually track your activity. You may also add a variety of live notes to form a memory graph. Automatic integrations like health, sleep, location, app usage and others could be part of your Trac timeline in the future releases.
