I joined Twitter some time in 2008, I don't remember exactly when. It was an exciting place to hang out and chat with friends, and strangers alike.
I didn't start using it "seriously" until early in 2015.
Since that time I have met many people on Twitter that have changed my life. Some I still interact with on a daily basis, and others have moved on to other places.
Twitter is in a strange place at the moment.
The purchase by Elon Musk, has thrown things into a bit of disarray, but I hope that things will improve, but there is a possibility that we have lost the Twitter I knew and loved.
In this season of giving thanks, I thought it would be great to build a tool that makes it easy to share the people we are thankful for on Twitter.
The idea of reviving the Myspace Top 8 came to mind, and I decided there was no time like the present.
This is a quick build just a few days of work, but I'm very pleased with how things turned out. I hope you build your Top 8 and share it with the world!
Let me know if you run into any issues.

@bentossell Would have loved to do that, but the Twitter API limits it would have created a very poor top 8 list for you.
Hope the suggestions, helped though!
Timely launch! 🦃
Also, I must say: Thankful for you, @mubashariqbal. You're an inspiring example for the PH community and makers in general. This is your 78th Product Hunt launch (if I'm counting correctly!). Incredible.
@rrhoover Thanks Ryan.
ProductHunt have been an amazing community to be part off. Ever since I discovered it about 8 years ago(!) I knew I'd found my people.
The positivity here, even when sometimes you have to deliver feedback you know the maker may not like has been a great source of inspiration to me.
My thoughts exactly, @rrhoover.
@mubashariqbal is on a tear on and I was super stoked to have been able to test this out yesterday before the launch. Hope to see it gain some steam!
