TooDeep is a mobile peer-to-peer support platform, where people can anonymously share their thoughts and feelings through audio recordings and text. TooDeep is currently available for all iOS devices, and will expand to Android devices in late 2020/early 2021.

The inspiration of TooDeep began when I found myself dealing with depression and anxiety. My dad had a life-threatening stroke while battling Prostate Cancer, and my mother was hospitalized due to Breast Cancer complications. I spiraled deeper and deeper into depression, the fear of judgement prevented me from reaching out for help from my family and friends. I knew I needed to release these feelings somehow. So I decided to create a place where I could release my emotions anonymously through audio recordings without the fear of being judged - thus, birthing TooDeep.

Good idea! How do you plan to moderate it though? It can become a havoc if this community becomes huge and people start misusing their anonymity?

@thecodearrow Hi Prashanth, thanks and yes great question. This question stays on top of our minds. Not only will us admins moderate for any misuse behavior, but the TooDeep community will have the power to moderate and flag trolls. Trolls that are flag, will be sent into a black hole in our system. Meaning, they might still be able to leave comments, but their comments or posts will not show publicly. They will remain private only for them to see. We also have the options to delete, suspend or block their accounts. Other ways we are preventing trolls as we grow is by diffusing comment threads. We have a long list of ideas to help us tackle this potential problem. Hope I was able to answer your question.
