What do you think? …

So far, it looks good. Is there a place to see avg. visitor time on the page?
Adam
@danielctuttle Thanks Daniel, glad you like it. Unfortunately, not at the moment. There is however a major update coming in August which will include the avg. visitor time on the page

@danielctuttle @farahiaram how will that work? In another comment you mention "absolute zero tracking.", but to compute average visitor time you need to have some kind of tracking. Is the zero tracking only for the time being?
Adam
@danielctuttle @smeijer Hi Stephan, Your concern is understandable. First of all, there will be never be any tracking back to a specific user. That goes against my principles, Toasted Analytics (now Alpina) exists because I personally am a privacy-minded person, which is why I started it. Now, the algorithm is quite complex, but basically to determine the average visit time we create something called "journey paths" internally based on a few parameters that the user's browser sends us. Obviously, none of these parameters contain any personal information (IP address, unique id's embedded in localstorage/cookies, etc), which is why no specific pageview or journey path can be tracked back to an individual user. There is *literally* no way I could take a pageview and pull any personal information from it, we simply don't collect it. So, by "zero-tracking" I mean that everything is collected anonymously, and the data we do collect (e.g. browser, OS, country of origin, page path, time of visit, etc) is used internally to create those journey paths and provide average time spent metrics. Hope that answers your question.

Looks great! How is it privacy-friendly?
Adam
@martinezeithan Thank you :) We don't collect any sort of personal information, don't use cookies, local storage, session storage to track users. Essentially, each pageview is collected anonymously and cannot be tied to an individual in any way. You can read more about what we collect and why here: https://docs.toastedanalytics.co...

I have been using it since it's beta phase and have been truly impressed with the ease of use and simple Event tracking options.
