Add an AI Agent to your text editor without the boilerplate. Let AI read and edit documents based on user-defined tasks. Works with OpenAI or your own LLM stack. Multiplayer-ready, fully customizable, and easy to integrate.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
We built this because adding Cursor-like AI features to a rich text editor is way harder than it should be: context management, undo/redo, multiplayer, AI UX, it all adds up fast.
The AI Agent gives you a clean API to build custom document workflows… assistants, automations, you name it. Works with OpenAI or your own LLMs, and supports multiplayer + AI change review.

This makes adding AI to the editor experience feel effortless and flexible. Love the balance of customization and simplicity — especially great that it supports both OpenAI and self-hosted models. Definitely a powerful addition for collaborative teams.
Finally saw the official announcement. We noticed this update back in May and looked into it. In the end, we decided to build our own solution, since we might need to work with more rich text modules. After checking it out again today, I’m really looking forward to your next updates. Highly recommend this to others—ready to use out of the box
@philip_isik I understand the difference between general-purpose and vertical-specific scenarios, I just hope that Tiptap can find a balance in this process. At least I believe that in the AI era, most capabilities should be compatible with Markdown syntax support

@supa_l Thanks for your feedback! We're curious to find out how developers will use it with their custom and backend AI models.

@hi_caicai Thanks for your feedback! Curios to hear what rich text modules you need.
@philip_isik We customized some: images, tables, code blocks, quotes, and an SVG editor
