TikBox.io is a one stop shop for photo, likeness, design, etc licensing and commercialisation. We're building the future of secure copyright and generative AI labelling and management with legal-tech workflows for all online creative assets.
Hey there fellow creative Product Hunters!
💪 Nobody likes it when something personal is taken without permission. Your creations should be under your control, and TikBox.io makes that possible.
🖼️ With TikBox.io, you can easily upload your assets* - single, multiple or in bulk via our API (public API coming soon!)
✔️ Just tick the boxes to set your licensing and copyright preferences.
📝 Use our customisable templates, or even upload your own preferred licensing terms, including Creative Commons.
You can invite your legal representative or agent to keep an eye on this part of the process.
🔐 We handle the rest—securing your files with cryptographic C2PA seals, embedding key copyright and provenance metadata, and signing the agreement. This ensures that wherever your assets are shared, your rights go with them.
🏷️ TikBox.io labels are already visible on platforms like LinkedIn.
🚀 When someone discovers your content, they can license it easily and make royalty payments directly through TikBox.io, straight into your account!
🏆 We’re thrilled to be finalists at the Technology for Marketing AI Award in London. Now, we’re eager to hear from the Product Hunt community. Log on, explore TikBox.io, and share your thoughts with us. Over to you!
💪Take control of your creations with TikBox.io, your partner in licensing and monetisation.
😳 *Currently we work with image assets, next on the list is video. GenAI labelling is in the pipeline too.
@nageela this is interesting, good luck, so much unknown still as it relates to ai in terms of licensing or copyrighted materials. Will watch this space to see it play out long term, I’m very skeptical short term, but hopeful for long term progress.
@mogabr Thanks Gabe. I think there are two main questions to look at: 1. copyrighted material used for machine learning and 2. whether generative AI output is copyrightable (the issue about human authorship). For point 1, the UK government clarified it's position on protection of copyright works: https://www.pinsentmasons.com/ou... , the EU AI Act has similar thinking, concerning the US we'll find out after the election I suppose! Then there's point 2. GenAI is being used for very many different use cases from drug discovery to content creation - there's value being created in the output so it seems that laws will evolve/clarify to offer IP rights over some kinds of GenAI output. Happy to keep in touch!
Huge congrats to the TikBox.io team on today's launch! I love how you're tackling the often-overwhelming world of copyright and licensing for creators. Here's a quick question: How do you envision TikBox.io's GenAI labeling feature balancing the need for creative freedom with the importance of accurate copyright assertion, especially in cases where AI-generated content is derived from multiple sources?
@ihuzaifashoukat Thanks Huzaifa, that's a pretty meaty question! Labelling GenAI content is a legal requirement mandated by the EU AI Act, President Biden's AI Executive Order, as well as laws and regulations in many other jurisdictions. There's a concern about the negative impacts of deepfakes and bad actors and clearly labelling assets, to ensure transparency, is part of the solution. TikBox.io has implemented C2PA - this is quickly becoming an international standard for provenance and transparency. OpenAI/Dall-E have also implemented the standard and this means that Dall-E will label the asset as made with GenAI at the time it's generated, while TikBox.io will use user input to label an asset as GenAI if the labelling has not been provided already. The label could also indicate partially made by AI.
Congratulations on the launch, Tickbox team🎉. It believe it is going to be a very helpful software for securing and managing creative assest. Wishing you great success.
I am impressed how straight-forward the user interface is. There are not many distracting options, which makes it very easy to follow the flow and actually get the copyright set up
Glad it works as intended Alexander. We've been through a few iterations with the agreement building workflow to keep it simple, and there are a few more things we're planning to do in the coming weeks!
