This is really cool!
Using it for minimal timers could be pretty sweet too E.g. Focus timer, workout, yoga etc etc. Voice control would be awesome too. Or splitting / quartering the display.

I really like products that make data/info consumable on other mediums other than a screen. This reminds me a little of vestaboard and a brightbrite, which evokes a lot of nostalgia.
@villainjosh Thanks for hunting us! Unbundling stuff from screens and smartphones onto other mediums is the entire reason we built Tidbyt. It's just a fundamentally better and less distracting tool compared to busting out your phone for every simple task.
