A simple, yet essential tool to shorten your long URLs. Save and manage your generated short links, get a QR code, and change the alias name (sign up required)
Hi there, I always want to be independent when it comes to web tools, so, since I needed a custom URL shortener, I created thinking, a free simple tool where you can save and manage your generated short links, get a QR code, and change their alias names
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, hope you'll like this tool :)
@frankeno It would be nice to generate pronounceable URLs by default, utilizing an alternating consonant and vowel pattern. Additionally, it is important to exclude characters that may cause confusion, such as 'O' versus '0' and 'I' versus 'l'.
@zenda1122 Maybe the QR code generator, and its simplicity. I built this tool because I didn't want to depend on other services, so I thought to share it here and I'm open to feedback to improve it ;)
Congrats on the launch! How does the QR code generation work: are the QR codes customizable in any way? Also, I'm curious about the alias feature. Can users change the alias names anytime, and does it impact the existing links?
@kyrylosilin Thanks for your feedback! The QR code is not customizable at the moment, and the alias can be changed anytime from the list of your links (sign up required to store your short links in your account)
