The Triton Project is a 3D printed headset that uses off the shelf hardware to achieve advanced augmented reality. The Triton’s mission is to help us better explore the role computer vision and web technology plays in creating compelling AR.
Hi everyone, I spent 6 months developing this augmented reality headset so that it can be assembled entirely with off the shelf components.
Additionally, I programmed my own software that you can download and run on the headset. The link to download the software can be found on the project's website.
I hope you all enjoy it.
Congrats on the launch @grahamatlee! Super cool to see an AR project that can be built completely with off the shelf parts. What sparked your idea for the project?
@jayakumar_gopalan Hi Jay, unfortunately I'm no longer offering the 3d printed parts but I forgot to remove it from the docs. As an alternative you can download the .stl files and upload them here https://www.3dhubs.com/guides/3d... to get an instant quote on what it would cost for someone to 3d print the parts and ship them to you. It should be around the same price.
