This book is my personal map of the tips, power-ups, and not-so-obvious solutions to common questions and problems that I've come across during 4 years of React development.
👋
I have been thinking about writing this book for quite a while now. The idea came mostly from having been using React for a long time, and really missing some sort of opinionated guide to help me navigate through its world.
Basically, I got sick of all of the "it depends" and overly complicated language that I encountered when trying to get answers for specific questions, so I decided to start writing my own guide, hoping it helps as many people as possible.
Hope you like it and would love some feedback.
Thank you
Sara's done an amazing job condensing her years of experience on complex projects into something you can use to navigate the React ecosystem.
Not only that, but you just have fun reading this book and learning from the examples.
There are not that many programming books out there that will make you laugh while reading them and actually teach you something more complex, like how to understand how specific React hooks work under the hood.
I appreciate that Sara didn't write a book for beginners, but for people who are in the position of making these technology choices (whether for their side projects or company apps). 10/10, Congrats Sara!
Haven't gotten very far into this book yet (saving it to read with a tech book club!) but I love that it also has a website that I can search and just have open in my browser, and what I've read so far is well written and fun to read.
