Thoroughly enjoyed this book. A brilliant look at the hustle, salesmanship and entrepreneurial skills of pirates, bootleggers, counterfeiters and others on the fringes of society in some of the most marginalised places in the world. This was refreshingly interesting and a really fascinating look at life in parts of the world that we frequently only hear about in disaster reports. Highly recommended.
I am about halfway done with this book and have really been enjoying it and gaining a lot of perspective on the topic. I have felt for a long time that it is possible to learn from all people and the lessons may not be where you expect them. This book does a great job of bringing some of those lessons to us all.
