Juked is a community for esports fans that makes it easy to join the conversation and follow your favorite games, teams, and leagues in a less toxic environment than Twitch chat or Twitter.
Hey PH!
My name is Ben, and I've been in and around esports for the better part of 20 years as part of the community, as a competitor, commentator, and professionally for the past 12 years!
Juked is more than a decade in the making: it's a community / vertical social network for esports fans, founded by industry veterans and our mission is to make esports more inclusive and accessible for everyone by reducing toxicity and friction for esports fans.
We originally launched Juked in 2019 as the "TV Guide for esports." We saw success with that and quickly grew to 50,000 monthly unique users, which was awesome!
But we spent the past 3 years talking to users every day, and discovered an even bigger problem: most esports fans (by our count, 75%) don't have a core group of friends to discuss the esports matches, tournaments, meta shifts, player transfers, and strategies in the games they follow. So they rely on general use social media platforms like Reddit, Twitter, and Twitch chat to have any conversations around esports. And as we all know, these platforms can be incredibly toxic, incredibly fragmented, and not conducive for nuanced conversations.
Our aim with Juked is to reduce friction in following esports, and create a healthier place for discussion so that we can facilitate the best place for the esports community to convene to find a deeper sense of community and passion in the games they love.

I look forward to any questions, comments, or feedback from the PH community!
@sheepsknuckles Thanks Brett! Hope you enjoy being part of the community, we're 10K strong and still have had almost 0 issues with toxicity to report, which is super exciting :)
This is easily my new favorite app. I am a HUGE fan of esports. Before the Juked app, I never had a place I could talk about or easily keep up with esports. All I had was Reddit or Twitter and those were awkward, toxic, and difficult to start a conversation with. The Juked app gave me a chance to talk about matches, events, industry news, teams, players, and all things esports. In an amazing community of super friendly, knowledgable, and esports addicts like me. It also helps that the Juked team is deeply ingrained in the community and is just like us so we feel heard any time we have feedback or any issues. Whether you are an esports fan or are new to esports I can't recommend this app enough!
It is great just to have people to talk to without a negative takeaway. Esports can be volatile depending on who you interact with but this has been very pleasant and enjoyable. I daresay I am even more invested in esports events as I get to know more about what's going on before the events.
Some tech/UX hurdles to overcome (I use Android) but that can be fixed easily with time and a little effort.
