Thanks for the love! We launched Bookseer way back in like 2009 or so (I think) as a piece of fun. It currently uses Amazon recommendations but used to use LibraryThing until that got a bit complicated. Most people find that it works pretty well for answering the simple question of "what should I read next?". (I've been working in and around digital publishing since about 1998, so have a few things like this scattered across the internet). The hard work for this was done by @jamesbridle who used to work with me at a company called AptStudio.com in the UK
