Its time for music to also embrace the creative commons license. The current system is too complicated. No more usage restrictions. Starting at $5/mo, you’ll have unlimited access to a database of beats for your projects. The database is updated monthly with new material so you can always have fresh music.
Hey Product Hunt,
My goal for The Beatbox Club is to give people easier access to instrumentals. Use our instrumentals to market yourself. Use them to score your film. Use them to enhance your brand's experience.
Currently I'm focused on hiphop beats, but would love to expand later. So if you're a member of Product Hunt and want to give us a try, send me your email below and I'll give you a month for free.
What I'm Trying to Improve
- Problem: High quality instrumentals tend to have complicated licenses. Some restricts by the amount of plays. Some restrict how you can use them. Most beats have you renew the license after 1000 plays. That's too much to remember and deal with.
- Solution: All beats use a Creative Common license, which allows you to use the beats for any and everything. You can market to 5 people or 5 million people. You won't get a letter from us. The only thing you cannot do is start your own competing store with our music.
- Problem: Beats are somewhat expensive no mater where you are in your career. Most people don't like paying for individual beats.
- Solution: You can subscribe to the library of beats and its updates for $5/mo for loops and $20/mo for full tracks.
How does this work?
- You subscribe via email for free beats or via Paypal for a paid subscriptions. Free subscribers get a few beats per month. Paid subscribers get access to the library + updates. You'll at least see more than 5 new beats per month.
- We'll invite you to a Dropbox folder where the libraries live. If you paid $20, you get access to loops and full tracks. If you paid $5, you get access to the loops.
- Have a computer with a small hard drive? You can access the library via web browser. Login into Dropbox.com so you don't have to download the whole folder to your computer.
- I have the Dropbox Free Account: The library caps around ~25 tracks. We retire old tracks while we add in new tracks.
