@goldsteinzach launched his loungewear brand recently. It's 18 months in the making. He left his full-time job (my parents were initially not pleased) going to great lengths to source the best materials and collaborate with the best designers, all in the name of better sweatpants.
The pants are offered in waist and length sizing, like slacks or jeans. They're extremely functional and outrageously comfortable. And they're Made in America.
The company was covered by Business Insider yesterday (http://www.businessinsider.com/p...).
Longer term, I'm sure he'd love to talk more about his plans to build a direct-to-consumer ecommerce company.
@stewartjarod Hi Jarod, yes, but way down the road. The next two garments will be a sweatshirt and t-shirt. Is there a specific jacket you'd like to see (i.e. winter coat versus something lighter for the fall/spring)? Anything about your current jackets that bugs you?
@goldsteinzach@stewartjarod I was thinking something light and slim fitting. It seems a lot of the sweatshirts / zipper hoodies have the same baggy fit that reminds me of crummy sweatpants...
@stewartjarod Noted and completely agree! Hopefully our sweatshirt will solve that problem, but we're a ways out before it comes to market, unfortunately. In the design stage for now. Happy to keep you posted though and appreciate the input!
Hey guys, I decided to make these pants because sweatpants in general never fit me well or looked nice enough that I could wear them outside of the house. I wanted to design a pair of pants that were more comfortable than jeans, but more stylish than regular baggy sweats. Would love your thoughts!
