Yes, the industry's price tags have come down somewhat with the introduction of UptimeRobot in 2010 where they launched as a "free" alternative to the incumbents at the time. Needless to say, they landed up taking the same approach as everyone else and limiting the actual uptime monitoring functionality and going the same route as others by charging for additional monitors and integrations. So what are we doing differently, you say? We're literally offering everything related to basic uptime monitoring for free - no catches. Unlimited monitoring and unlimited integrations with 3 seats on our platform for free, forever. How do we make money? Well, apart from the foundational necessities of uptime monitoring being provided for free on our platform, we've introduced some add-ons that certain ecommerce stores or agencies or founders would appreciate (the nice-to-haves of uptime monitoring).
