Nice work, @jonaspelzer! But can you add support for images, videos, galleries, custom code, stripe integration....
...j/k, I'm digging the simplicity.
Hey everyone!
I’m Jonas, a freelance web designer and developer and I’m very excited to share my first product!
The idea was born after I launched my personal website, which was only text about me and my work with a few links to recent web projects, being presented in a huge font size and a very subtle fade-in animation for each paragraph. I was approached by multiple people because they wanted to use the same site with a different text for themselves, so I decided to build a tool for this cause.
By default, the generated one pagers show a small “built with temper” link at the bottom. This branding can be removed by generating a domain-bound key file for $19 and uploading it to the same directory as your temper HTML file. This is an optional add-on, the basic functionality is free.
The font size is fluid so that the line length won’t change on different devices and viewports. The paragraphs make use of a subtle fade-in animation. Instead of just offering a few predefined templates for your one pager, you can freely choose text and background color, choose from 20 fonts (4 generic font families and 16 selected Google fonts with different styles) and change the font size.
There is no sign up form or anything like that. Simply play around with temper until you are happy with your site and instantly download your personalized HTML file.
I have a few ideas for additional features to add in the future, but I want temper to stay as simple and single-purpose-focused as it is.
Let me know what you think!
All the best,
Jonas
