I already use @Kaleidoscope on a near daily basis — so it's exciting to see its maker expand into adjacent territory with the acquisition of Taska!
“Adding Taska to our family of products perfectly aligns with our goal to offer professional tools that are beautiful to look at and fun to use,” said @catlan, CEO of Leitmotif. “Given Kaleidoscope’s deep integration with Git, we see significant potential for our customers to enhance their issue tracking experience with Taska.“
To celebrate the acquisition of Taska, Leitmotif is offering 50% off all of its products for a limited time:
@Kaleidoscope: The world's most powerful file comparison and merge app. Get 50% off one year of subscription.
@Versions: The best way to work with Subversion on the Mac. Get 50% off the one-time purchase.
Photoscope: An app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro that helps find the best pick from a series or burst of photos. It’s available for free.

This looks like a really nice UI, and I like the idea of being able to combine all my tasks across platforms in one place.

@hennersbro98 Thanks for the positive feedback! Feel free to share more as you explore the product :) We're also still fairly new to the product and want to learn what our customers need, so we can build the best possible app.

A beautifully designed Mac app for GitHub and GitLab issues sounds promising! How does Taska streamline issue tracking compared to native GitHub/GitLab tools? Interested in its workflow features!

@alexander_winter We're just getting started with Taska, we'll have more workflow related news to share soon.
But already today, being able to enter multiple tasks within seconds, without ever leaving the keyboard, is a total game changer: hit enter in a list, type the task title, immediately assign by typing @, or label by typing #. Hit enter again to have the task saved and immediately add the next one.
We'd love to hear your feedback!
