This is really nice. Simple to use and effective. How are you getting the location info?
Joe d'Elia
@poehah IP address! We have multiple databases and cross check the location between them :)
Aaran McGuire
@poehah I assume by IP.

This is a really interesting and well-executed concept! Quick question - how does this affect search engine crawlers and results? For example, will Google read the second sentence as "Hundreds of use our service!"?
Joe d'Elia
@constancecchen Thank you Constance! You are right, the second example wouldn't make much sense to Google. You can however add a default value like in example number one, so you could do: [p]Hundreds of [span monkey-content="country_adjective"][span]people[/span][/span] use our service![/p] then Google would read "Hundreds of people use our service", while users would have people changed to their country's demonym. :)

@giordanobd @constancecchen EDIT: PH doesn't allow code, so I used square brackets instead of real HTML

Hey @erictwillis, thank you for hunting again! I decided to create this product after several requests from people using Tailor, who wanted to get a little more “personal” with their users. The product allows you to use geolocation information... in pure HTML. I think we came up with a pretty elegant solution that is perfect for static websites that want to add some personalized content. If you'd like to learn a bit more about the thought process and the stack I wrote an article yesterday about it, http://thrustdivision.com/blog/t.... I look forward to answering all your questions!
