Hi Product Hunters! πŸ‘‹πŸ» I’m Robin, the maker of Taming the State in React && web developer who wants to get more into teaching. What has started as an attempt to write an ebook about Redux and MobX 6 months ago, has now evolved into a full course. I am pretty excited yet terrified to launch the course πŸ™ˆ Releasing my last ebook about React.js was such an overwhelming experience, because I would have never thought about someone reading it. Over the time, I have learned a lot from the feedback readers would give me and teaching (and learning myself) has become a fulfilling activity for me. That’s why I continued writing and that’s why I hope that the new course helps people to get started in these other libraries, too. πŸ€” If I had to share one big learning from my last ebook, it would be this one: Newcomers value an up-to-date and consistent source for learning a topic. There exist plenty of tutorials about Redux and MobX but they are hardly kept updated or are only taught in smaller, inconsistent chunks on different websites. By applying the same mantra as for my last ebook, keeping the course up-to-date and consistent, I hope to give newcomers to these libraries an effortless learning experience. All learnings from the ebook are applied in practical scenarios during the course. You can read more about it (and about my emotional journey 😁) in my launch blog post https://www.robinwieruch.de/lear... Let me know what you think about it! πŸ”₯ A huge thank you goes to Charisse for creating this awesome book cover 😊 https://dribbble.com/charisseysabel

I haven't read this book yet, but the previous educational materials made by @rwieruch were nothing short of amazing. Thanks for creating this content and putting it out there!

@dan_abramov I never expected to see you here Dan! Thank you so much for this feedback and believing in my doings. Even though I still have so much to learn myself, I hope to forward my experiences to the community by writing about them. Thank you!

Great resource for getting up to speed with React/Redux. To the point, systematic, good easy to follow examples.
