Talisman is your partner for auditing, managing, and planning your expenses. By securely connecting to your bank, it reveals the full scope of your spending and alerts you to overcharges, renewals, and trial subscriptions.
Hey PH fam 👋
Today, I'm super excited to bring Talisman to the wider tech & startup community around the world! 🌎
As a busy founder, staying on top of all of your SaaS subscriptions is insanely hard. Thus, it's easy for expenses to spiral out of control and blow past your quarterly budgets.
I'm not a stranger to this problem .. so that's why when I came across Talisman, I resonated with the value prop right away.
With Talisman, you can control your company's subscriptions with a live dashboard. For Free.
Talisman delivers clear insights, tracking every subscription – even the ones you forgot about.
Key features:
-> Spend management (that's free); access an essential service when you sign up with no upfront cost
-> Review subscriptions that are automatically found through a Plaid integration to your bank
-> View historical spend and projected expenses from one place
-> Receive notifications for subscription renewals and overcharges
-> Gain key insights on your software spend to make informed decisions about your budget
I recently got a chance to check out the demo and I was instantly impressed. The user experience and product design was thoughtful and meticulous.
The founding team has a Dieter Rams-esque appreciation for high quality in design and craftsmanship. I loved it so much that I agreed to help with this public PH launch campaign.
Excited to see a wave of new startups and businesses try out Talisman today and say NO to manual audits, missed renewal dates, disconnected tools, or clunky spreadsheets. 🙅
Big shoutout to the Talisman team (Chiko, Mike, Anthony, Mikayla and more) who are all here today 😀

@thisiskp_@oumaima_acharki shoutout to dieter rams! "weniger aber besser" :)
This is like a "too good to be true" type of tool haha - sorry if this is answered somewhere else - but will Talisman through the Plaid integration be able to recognize subscriptions that are on my credit card? Or would it only find subscriptions that are being charged to that bank account's debit card? Regardless - this is definitely a major pain point! Congrats on launch :)
@harrisonjohnson Great question! Talisman, with our Plaid integration, is able to identify subscriptions from any supported account type, be it credit card, debit card, or even checking and savings accounts! Try it out and let us know what you think!
Congrats @thisiskp_ Talisman team! 🎉 Managing SaaS subscriptions just got easier with your live dashboard. Say goodbye to overspending and hello to budget control! 💸💪
Hello Product Hunt!
👋🏿
I'm Chiko, the CEO and founder of Talisman. After three years of hard work, I'm excited to introduce you to Talisman, a project our tiny team poured their heart and soul into.
Growing up in a family of makers, I’ve always been obsessed with making things people love. My father, an engineer by trade, always preached the importance of doing the job the right way, and my mother, a nurse, preached doing the work with love. My grandfather, born in colonial Zimbabwe, was a mango farmer who took pride in creating the tastiest mangos his region had ever tasted, regardless of the effort required to achieve this goal.
Unlike my grandfather, my passion is not mangos but software products. The idea for Talisman is one I stumbled into while leading a team at a late-stage startup, and the problem felt large enough that we could work years on it and continue to expand the offering.
While working at that start-up, I noticed the same problems pop up for companies: the hassle of managing countless subscriptions, tracking their cost, and the confusion over who's using what and who's paying for it all.
So, we decided to tackle these problems head-on by creating Talisman. By securely connecting to your bank account, Talisman can:
* Discover and alert you to SaaS subscriptions
* Detect which card is being used for payments
* Allow team members to communicate with each other through activity logs on each subscription
* Receive notifications on upcoming renewals and overcharges
* Compare historical and projected SaaS spend instantly
We didn't just focus on building a powerful tool; we ensured it was a joy to use. We've invested time creating a user-friendly experience and design that we hope you'll love.
And lastly –– our FREE tier is FREE. Forever.
Our entire team is here today on Product Hunt, and we’d love for you to check out the tool and share your thoughts. Feedback is a gift; we need your help to keep improving the product, and we would love to have it!

One of the things I appreciated most about Talisman is its user-friendly interface. Navigating through our software spending data was super simple. This has been/will be invaluable in understanding where our money is going and identifying areas where we can optimize our spending.
Talisman offers businesses a clear and accessible solution for managing software subscription expenses. Its value proposition is strong, promising to reveal hidden costs and provide actionable insights for optimization. Key features like identifying overcharges and tracking renewals address common pain points. While the emphasis on security is reassuring, more details could enhance trust. Overall, Talisman appears to be a valuable tool for businesses seeking to streamline their software spending.
"Revolutionize the way you monitor and control your company's software expenses with this cutting-edge platform!
