Hi there, i'm Gildo and I created Taky.
Taky comes up from my need to have a web app that allows me to write an idea or a document as fast as possible.
Currently, there are thousands of note applications, but I decided to build the one I wanted to use: fast with a simple UI

@jamesmudgett strange, you should be able to use the app without having to click on signup. The registration is only needed if you want to cloud sync your notes.
@jamesmudgett the application is PWA ready, which means that it can behave like a native app on mobile phones. On Android this kind of apps works really well.
