Tab Search allows you to search across all open tabs from one place. It's a convenient tool to help you quickly find and switch to the content you need in your tabs.
Hello Product Hunt,
I'm a hobbyist programmer with a big love for small tools that simplify routine tasks. I'm a firm believer in subtracting steps, not just rerouting them. It's with this philosophy, I'm excited to introduce my brand new side project: Tab Search for Google Chrome.
The concept is simple: it's a search box that allows you to find keywords within the visible content of any of your open tabs, enabling you to jump directly to that tab and the specific search term.
I hope you find Tab Search helpful and if you decide to give it a try, I would be grateful for any ratings, reviews, feedback or suggestions on the Chrome Web Store to help in elevating its visibility.
@rickreviewseverything Thanks! I appreciate you saying that, a lot of care was taken to optimize it's speed. I'm not aware of the Alt+F hotkey for Chrome's menu, are you on Windows? I'll look into updating that.
@rickreviewseverything The latest version uses Alt+A to open the extension. You may need to reinstall the extension for it to take effect - or assign the shortcut yourself.
