Syrnyk turns your groceries into recipes. Whether you're a beginner or a chef, Syrnyk makes it simple to cook with what you have. - Recipe Generations - AI Fridge Tracking - Step-by-Step Guidance - Customizable Experience - History and Cookbook Pages
Hey everyone, I'm the developer of Syrnyk - an app that generates recipes from what you have in your fridge.
All you have to do is take a pic of your groceries/fridge, the AI will recognize everything and then you can cook whatever it is you want. You can choose your skills, appliances you have, preferences, occassion, cuisines etc.. OR it can just create random recipes for you.
- It has a Cookbook, so you can save your prefered recipes and filter them there
- There's a "fridge" where you track your groceries, you can add those either manually or use our image recognition to take a picture of your fridge and add the groceries automatically.
- Every recipe is divided into steps and each step has ingredients that are needed on that particular step
- Every recipe has a FULL nutritional facts table
iOS only for now.
@david_haidamaka hey David, Congrts on the launch. I tried doing this in 2021 but failed and shelved. It was too complex and false positives / negatives far outweighed the actuals. With OpenAI vision, this seems like a fair deal now. I love the overall design and UX btw.
Wonder how are you getting the nutirinal fact table of any recipe. It that fine tuned to display by OpenAI's model as well?
@imraju Hey, thanks!)
Yes the nutritional facts are AI based, that's why it has a "Beta" tag on it, I tried to fine tune it as much as I could but at the end of the day it's not a professional estimate (for now at least)
I would have used more variety in the screenshots. Regardless, is fine. I wonder how you test something like this? asking your neighbors pics of their fridges? lol
