Syr

I was an international student in the Midwest (US) and struggled the first two years with food since I could not get access to Southeast Asian food (I am originally from Burma). I eventually met an immigrant grandma from Burma who came to the States as a refugee, I helped her made meaningful income selling authentic Burmese food to my fraternity brothers during college. This experience inspired me to build Syr, where people can discover other people around them through food and build meaningful connections.
