I made Swysh to ameliorate one of the biggest nuisances of the music listening experience: skipping through songs. Repeatedly swiping up to the control center on an iPhone became increasingly annoying and would stop me from what I was doing on my phone. At times, iPhone users can't even swipe up because they're typing on a keyboard, or using an app that would cause the touch gesture to get confused. With Swysh, music listeners can now control their music playback faster without any disruption to their task at hand.
Waving the device to the right will change to the next song. A wave to the left will change to the previous song. A wave downwards will pause/play the current song. When Pocket Mode is enabled, Swysh will disable motion gestures while the device is upside-down such as in a pocket.
Swysh is now on the iOS app store and currently compatible with the Music app (Apple Music)! I'll be on Product Hunt to answer any questions. I'd love to hear your feedback!
@andym_dc Yes! Definitely trying to integrate Soundcloud and Spotify as soon as possible! Personally I listen to a lot of music on SoundCloud, so it's a top priority.
