A simple and useful tool to review and decide what to do with all of your gallery photos/videos, separated by months. You can either swipe/touch left to delete it, or right to keep it. You can also see information related to size or share it directly to anyone

We found out that the 3 of us had the same issue. Our phones were so full of photos and it was so boring to review them that we were constantly struggling with phone space. I tried several apps that were intended to help you solve this issue, but all of them had some kind of inconvenience. Either they worked really bad, or they had some time blockers (you could only review one month every eight hours), high pay walls (4 USD PER WEEK just to delete photos? No, thanks) and even some of them an annoying amount of ads were every 3 photos you would have to see a 30 secs ad. That's why we built Swipe & Delete, started for ourselves and quickly realized there were others with this issue. Anyone else facing this problem?

@dne Hey! Thanks for your question, hope you enjoy it. I'm not sure I fully understand it thou. Do you mean if we retrieve photos directly from files or if we do so from phone gallery? If that's the question we are taking them from phone gallery, if that wasn't the question I would love to get some more details in order to be able to answer you!

@gaspihabif @dne i have same question
Gaspar Habif
@dne Oh I get it now! Yes, we do all the processing on the phone. We do NOT collect, nor process via AI or share photos by any means. Privacy is completely guaranteed and the only identifiers we collect are regarding behavior for analytics (Amount of time in app, or swipe vs button tap for example). Thanks for the question! Hope it's clear enough now :)

The concept of Swipe & Delete for managing gallery clutter is really practical. I'm curious, does it offer any insights like storage saved or most deleted types of photos? It's a great solution for keeping digital memories organized!
Gaspar Habif
@ekarp I'm glad you find it practical! After finishing deleting an entire month you can see how much space you have saved from that month's deleted photos. We will be adding general stats in a near future (Storage saved, amount of photos deleted, etc). But you mentioned "most deleted types of photos" and I find it curious, what type of "categories" do you imagen?
Egor Karpov
@gaspihabif I think if you could add some categorizing features, it could be helpful in terms of helping users understand their photo-taking habits and manage their storage more effectively. For example, if I delete tons of screenshots every month, the app could suggest me deleting screenshots in the first order, or even guide me on how to take and share screenshots without saving them to the gallery
Gaspar Habif
@ekarp That sounds super cool! Thank you so much for the suggestion. We will think how to implement it and do so in future versions.

I was literally freeing up photos space before I saw this post! The app works but IMO the animation is a bit slow. Also it would be great if you add the ability to move a photo to a specific album / folder. I'd pay for that (cheapo cheap).
Gaspar Habif
@miaouchardine Thank you very much for your feedback! We definitely can make animations faster. And the suggestion of moving between albums sounds really interesting, we will work on it to find how can we make it fit. Hope you find it useful meanwhile!
Gaspar Habif
@miaouchardine hey! Hope you are having a great day. We just launched a new version making the animations a little bit faster! I would love to hear how you feel them now and any other feedback as well!!

@gaspihabif it's great thanks! Feels very natural. I've noticed that the advertisement overlaps the final Delete button (S21). Cheers!
Gaspar Habif
@miaouchardine Great! Thanks for the feedback, I will check the overlapped button to fix asap.
