I'm Tom, co-founder, and CEO of supertalent. 🦸
I just wanted to share a bit of the history of why we started supertalent :) I met with my co-founders at work, and it was one night over a beer where we discussed our previous work experiences. During the discussion, we agreed that even though we all were lucky enough to have great jobs in great companies, we really never had a good fit with company values and culture, how leadership treated the people, and so on.
As we come from a tech background, we were interested in knowing broader job satisfaction data. And to our surprise, as we looked through the data from Gallup or Gartner, we saw that more than 50% of employees have a negative experience with their employer. And the reason number 1? Yes, you guessed it, bad fit with company values and culture.
The second thing we wanted to do was to look at solutions on the market. We spent the next few weeks researching HR products, trying to find some that focus on assessing whether a person would fit into a given company based on their shared work values and personality.
What we found were only providers of behavioral assessments for companies to test their candidates. But it wasn't what we had in mind. Our envisioned product should work both ways. We wanted to give also the candidates the chance to know their value fit with companies.
And that's when we decided to start working on our solution. And we call this solution a value-based talent portal. A place where people can anonymously sign up and fill out our value fit and personality tests. By doing so, we will show them jobs and companies with which they have a good fit with their values and culture. And even if there won't be a company with a good value fit, the results of the tests give additional value to the candidates. They will know their advantages and risks, and we will give them a few tips about personal development. All this for free!
We also have value fit test for companies. To match the right talent with the right companies we let them fill out the assessment, and once they do, our algorithms compare the results with individual candidates and show the ultimate matches.
To increase the power of our value fit test for companies, they can also use it to test their teams. Once they better understand how people in the organization really feel about the values and culture, they can take actions to drive personal development, promote company values, and ultimately hire new talent for the shared values.

I hate saying it is "Easy to use" cause it sounds like bullshit but Supertalent is just that. Even though, you find some deep and complex things about yourself, all the time it feels like a videogame, Career manager PRO 2022 :D
