Today we're excited to announce the launch of Footprints, a new feature on Superlocal focused on encouraging people to have fun exploring new areas. On the newest version of Superlocal, you'll now see a blue layer on top of your map. As you walk around, the blue layer erases and, with each point that clears on the map you collect a random fruit! The fruits will eventually become redeemable for things such as tokens, digital goods, and more! Walk, drive, bike, or run around and you'll passively earn redeemable fruits and clear your map on Superlocal. WHY FRUITPRINTS??? We designed and built Fruitprints to be a passive game to play on Superlocal. We decided to build a passive game onto our map beacuse recognize that not every place you go to is always "check-in worthy." With Fruitprints, you now have a fun new thing to do on Superlocal that doesn't require checking in. You can open Superlocal throughout the day, scroll to the map, and see your new point score and which new fruits you've collected
