Supergood manages the cost and performance of your third-party APIs with only a few lines of code. Set spend controls, automatically stop rogue usage and flag data quality issues. Track requests on a per-vendor, per-customer, per-team, really a per-anything level.
I joke that I built Supergood out of pure spite, after fighting with roughly 50 third-party APIs at the fintech company I previously founded, Divvy Homes.
We were constantly getting hit with confusing invoices and surprise messages from our API vendor's account executives trying to charge us an unbelievable amount of money. To make matters worse, we were constantly dealing with data quality issues, surprise schema changes and unhandled exceptions that would cause our customers to churn - and yet we'd still be paying full price for these services.
We're launching today with a free plan that we hope can help you all account for all the vendors you're using, and get ahead of any cost or performance issues that might come your way.
If you would like to partner more closely with us as we build out the product, please reach out!
@charleyma Thanks Charley !
There's a few customers that get the most value out of Supergood, a few in particular are:
- Customers with APIs that affect their unit economics, particular with Fintech and LLM APIs. They like using Supergood to understand the value they're getting back from these services, such as the cost of underwriting a single customer, or servicing a customer using only AI.
- Customers who have to deal with older or international APIs on their platform. These tend to be less maintained, and can take down big parts of the business, unintentionally.
- Customers that have a LOT of different APIs and integrations. These tend to be companies that are aggregators of many different services, or are just very large enterprises with a varied product suite.
Congrats on the Launch!!
Supergood is very cool, the interface is slick and easy to use. But my favorite feature is the cost based monitoring and actions. Being able to block, alert, and/or rate limit calls based on the amount spent against that API is a killer feature.
@clarkbw Thanks for the kind words ! We're definitely seeing a lot of teams gravitate to that feature. We also have a concept of teams and tagging API calls in our platform, so you can actually manage and track calls on a per-team or even a per-customer basis.
It's been great for folks who share one single OpenAI key across their entire platform!
