@bruno_jacob this is solving a glaring need in web3. Some of the hoops folks have to jump through to on-ramp in the current system are nonsense. I used to try and help friends and would say things like “Just buy on a central exchange, wait 7 days, send to a hot wallet, bridge to L2, convert to another coin, and then buy this nft” LOL. Good job team
@bruno_jacob@elistonberg definitely. And while there are fiat onramps that let people load up a wallet with ETH, those suffer from higher credit card rejection rates. I had to try 3 different credit cards before the third one worked.
And recently, some of the more successful NFT projects (such as Reddit's launch) have been so transparent that collectors don't even know they're NFTs. Another point for mainstream adoption is buyers don't need to understand the underlying tech, which means they should be able to buy with whatever works for them: crypto or fiat.
Interesting - this could be a good solution for DTC brands looking to dabble in crypto for loyalty rewards, but most of their audience isn't equipped with a wallet yet.
Wallet/storage onboarding is a huge pain point for anyone that has worked with NFT POS. This is a very pertinent problem area and a promising solution!
