Have you ever came across some Youtube videos where the actual content will be in just some parts of the video and all the rest are just plain "blah blah"? me too. That is why I created this tool to save just the important part of the videos.
I am using YouTube more and more for educational purposes so I love the concept here.
I understand having better accuracy with manual tagging vs automatic. However, if you could aid the process by providing transcripts and scene cuts with timestamps it would be a lot easier to create these summary vidoes.
What is your revenue model? I would be happy to use this product if I knew it was going to stick around.
@tombielecki that is a great idea!!! I will see if I can implement on providing transcripts too.
For now I haven't thought of any revenue models. Initially It will be for ads. Later when more videos are added, I shall think of using the data for AI to maintain accurate and automatic summaries.
Once we have perfectly working AI with enough user submitted data to feed on. It can be a paid feature. Still I see it depends on the traction I get for current manual model.
Cut the crap from content is the motto for now. :)
Thank you for the upvote!!
As a web developer and animator I come across many websites and Youtube videos to learn something or do some research.
Very often I find myself looking at very useful videos but it comes with very annoyingly unnecessary "blah blah" contents attached with the original content in the video.
I felt like 😠 "Man!! come to the point already!!". If you've felt like that before, welcome to the SummaryPanda club.
Summarypanda.com is an online tool to add trimmed version of any youtube videos.
Check out the below video on Youtube:
Check out the same video on summarypanda.com:

If you felt better watching the second one, that is what I'm offering to deliver.
Note:- This is not an AI 🤖 based summarizer, people have to manually add videos. There are already many summarizers available in the market but I found it less accurate. Until a perfect AI can summarize videos. why not use summarypanda? 🙂
Also chrome extension is available to indicate if the current video in browser is available at summarypanda.com so that you don't have to visit to check with Youtube URL everytime.
I've just helped you save some time, go have your cup of tea and biscuits now. 😀
