Thank you, Chris, for hunting us. We're really excited to share what we are building. For all the remote workers out there...we built this for you. Our little company is completely remote and we love it - except that working at home there are lots of distractions & it can get lonely at times. ➡️ We would love your input on what we are building - it's a work-in-progress peek at our mission to help all of us remote workers to focus, have a friendly community...and finish our work faster. ➡️ What we've done is take a focus app 🎯 (think pomodoro timers, focus music, task lists, healthy breaks, etc.) and wrap it in a friendly community 🧑🏽‍💻🧑🏽‍💻🧑🏽‍💻 of other productivity-minded people. ➡️ We based Sukha on behavioral research called "Social Facilitation Theory" which refers to the phenomenon where the presence of others enhances your own performance. (and vice-versa!) Think about how Nike Run Clubs, Navy SEALS, research scientists and others choose to work in teams to accomplish more...faster...and better. In our first 1,000 members our community is predominantly developers, designers, solopreneurs and writers, but everyone is welcome. Michael & I are in the chat pretty much daily to help. Come join - there's a free trial with zero bs (no credit card, no weird paywalls, you know).

@julia_zakharova2 Thank you for the warm congrats - and YES! You are right. I'm aware of that. We actually chose the name because it means "happiness" in Sanskrit. I met my wife (Laura) in yoga and we have a daily yoga practice so there's a lot of Sanskrit in our life - and in our daily meditations. In naming the company, what I realized is that Sukha's greatest achievement is not really "more focus" or "faster work" or "less stress" - those are interim steps on the real goal we have for our members. Our real goal is to help them achieve happiness, and we are honored to be a tool for those who use us on their journey.
