Hello Product Hunt! I’m Evan Floersch, founder of STEAK Life. I couldn’t be more excited to launch here on PH. We asked the question, “Why is virtually every industry on the hook for evolving and building sustainable systems while media and social platforms sit around profiting off of our attention?” Especially when global ad spend will surpass $trillions in a few years. We all have a role to play. STEAK Life is the first media platform that generates social impact through attention alone. The community of young men we create content and media for can now effortlessly “steak their claim” in progress and invest in a social cause while investing in themselves.

Three key things we’d like you all to know before entering steak.life: (1) The Editorialization STEAK stands for the five verticals—Strength, Talent, Ego, Appearance, and Knowledge—we create content and media for. We have no particular favor towards red meat (but love a good pun). (2) The Impact We allocate 50% of our ad revenue to social good. Consuming content and media can finally feel equal, as our model benefits you, us, our advertisers, and the effort you choose to support. Note: we only partner with and feature conscious brands. And, we will never allocate <50% of our ad revenue to social good. (3) The Community It’s everything to us. Our platform is nothing without our early Steak followers, our brand partners, cross-promoting thought leaders, and those who join us along the way. We’ll be finding ways to give back to you all and continually improve the experience. If you’re doing something cool that helps others (or want to find a way to start), reach out to us. Like most launches here on PH, getting feedback on this MVP and building connections with other purposeful individuals are mission-critical as we enter fundraising. For media, this level of importance increases.
