Hello Fellow Indie Hackers 👋 Earlier this year I was working on a static website and I was not too happy about the current landscape. Most static site generators were overkill for the simple site I needed to build. I was in need of a static site generator that was as simple as working with HTML. I wanted to host it on Github pages. Oh, and it would be nice if it had a way to utilize layouts or include partials. But, nothing existed... Cool project. Looks so easy to get started with Static. Templates are great and I love your retro creative design. Congratulations for the launch and hope more developers will support it. Launching something without AI or ChatGPT in the name takes courage.
