TL;DR: Because one-hour conversation shouldn't be able to destroy years of career-building.
I made STAR Method Coach because job interviews have a disproportionate and unfair effect on our lives. An hour or so of conversation can make or break years and decades of our futures. STAR is the de facto framework in job interviewing preparation, but no one had made a product dedicated to STAR. I wanted to bring an expensive product (STAR training and interview roleplaying via coaches and career development schools) to everyone, taking advantage of the latest AI.

Interviewing is a muscle that we, hopefully, rarely exercise. Yet its importance to our professional lives cannot be overstated. Mastering it is a function of knowing the STAR framework, getting feedback, and repetition. These are great use-cases for currently available AI. I believe that using the tool for just an hour can significantly improve a user's interview abilities and drastically cut down their interview anxiety.

I want to bring this product to younger, earlier in career job seekers who can't shell out $1000s for career coaches. Or really anyone who is in a rush and needs to improve their interviewing skills right now. While it takes advantage of AI, I think you will find the user experience simple and the pricing reasonable.

Such a great tool for getting rid of speaking anxiety! It's got multiple modes where you can practice own questions, upload a particular job description to prep for it, or go hard-mode and throw yourself into a life-like interview that does feel super real. I thought I was decent at being interviewed - well, after practicing a few times and getting feedback, I had to mentally apologies to a few recruiters and hiring managers I though were unfair to me 😅
I like this AI tool. There are wide variety of categories to choose from. It helps you keep clear context in front of the interviewer. It also suggests you appropriate sentences that can be used in the interview. Thumbs up.
