StandupWizard helps keep your distributed team in sync by automatically collecting status updates from each team member in Slack and broadcasting the results to a central channel. Tailor standups to fit your team by choosing the schedule and questions asked.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Many teams run some form of daily status checkin (or "standup") meeting in order to ensure everyone is on the same page about work in flight and to make sure there is nothing blocking anyone's progress, however with the big shift to remote work, this has become increasingly more difficult and time consuming.
After having worked remotely for a number of years, I wanted to build a tool that teams could use to automate the status update process in Slack and reduce the number of meetings required on a day-to-day basis so time can be spent building the product itself. In addition, the tool also works asynchronously, meaning team members can provide their update at varying times depending on their individual work schedule.
🎉 Powerful Features
StandupWizard includes a number of features to help keep your distributed team in sync, such as:
• Automatic reminders: Each team member will receive a reminder to add their report on the days and time of your choosing
• Broadcast to the team: After team members write their report, it gets broadcast in a central channel for the rest of the team to see (and act on, if needed)
• Full Flexibility: Determine which team members are in the standup, what time to remind them, and what questions you want asked
• Timezone Support: Not everyone works in the same timezone, so you can optionally choose to remind each team member at a time in their own timezone
• Lookup and filter historical reports: All previous reports can be accessed and filtered on in the StandupWizard dashboard by the standup creator or workspace admin
• And much more!
