Hello, hunters! I created this site with the hope that people could learn more about the Black experience, why things are happening in the world right now, and find other ways to help the BLM movement apart from social media.

Hello, there! After hearing from friends of mine, I realized that many people don't know HOW they can help further the Black Lives Matter movement. They didn't know what organizations to donate to, what books to read, or TV to watch. And so Stand With BLM was born. I've compiled a list of organizations fighting for justice and equality for the black community, books and TV shows/movies/documentaries illustrating what it's like being black, and petitions that are demanding change in our government. I urge you to take a look and find some time to educate yourself on what is happening in the world. Gone are the days where racist comments and discriminatory acts fly under the radar. A sample of books I've collected throughout the years that I would recommend for the CMS: Eric Williams "Capitalism and Slavery" - The financial history of slavery written by the Trinidad's first PM and Founder. This book shows "where did all the money come from", as it details how Lloyds of London, Barclay's and many other British/American banks bankrolled the Atlantic Slave Trade (and where their wealth today came from). https://www.amazon.com/Capitalis... James "The Black Jacobins" - The history of the Haitian Revolution and how Haitians (to this day) are paying for emancipating themselves from European slavery (which now takes its form with "debt" burdened by the IMF, WTO, and UN). https://www.amazon.com/Black-Jac... Frantz Fanon "The Wretched of the Earth" and "Black Skin, White Masks" - Martinique psychiatrist who wrote of the atrocities inflicted by the French during the Algerian wars. Modibo Kadalie "Pan-African Social Ecology: Speeches, Conversations, and Essays" - Connects black liberation towards a ecological praxis, similar to how many Green Party organizations build their platform for public policy. https://www.akpress.org/panafric... bell hooks "killing rage: Ending Racism" - Arguably one of the best books on ending racism along with sexism (a primer into Black Anarchist thought) written by a prolific teacher of intersectionality.
