// Wait… How can I trust you? Is this scam?
No, but it's OK if you don't trust us. We have enough experience to see our data kidnapped, misused, and once not needed, sent to the paper bin.

@david_bonilla this looks really cool, thanks, nice to have a github repo to look into. One question I have is whether you fear stackoverflow has "something in mind" with this or it's true deletion and they're just freeing up some resources bandwidth for other causes??
@diacritica We talked with them and apparently they just want to focus on their "Stack Overflow for Business". The Jobs product and the sales team had a completely different approach and they decided to sunset a bunch of features.
It's a pity but we are happy to help.
@diacritica@david_bonilla Didin't know that they had the plan to sunset this feature. But it's good that I learned about it while finding a solution :) Congrats on the work!
Transparency is powa, and in this era where we work/live/surf using intensively third-party and cloud services, having the possibility of being the owner of all your information is key. Thanks, folks!
This is pretty cool! This might be the beginning of an open standard to create a new kind of decentralized Linkedin where users are really the owners of their own data and many third parties can create value on top of this data to help match developers with companies and other kind of professional opportunities! Wish you the best!
@victoriano_izquierdo That's the vision. We suffered the same thing with financial data until European Union regulated the market. We have no regulation for professional data so we built a solution :)
