When dining brought the only sense of normalcy to our lives during the pandemic, Eliot, Gibby, and I built a web app that helped groups of friends splyt the bill in under 2 min. As a result, +10K users have used splyt to process over $1M at 3K restaurants, and now we're launching on iOS. We built splyt because we were tired of seeing the frustration that bill splitting brought to the table. Existing solutions were too slow, frustrating, and awkward (asking everyone what they ordered, requesting $, overpaying, etc.). splyt is the fastest way to split any restaurant bill. Download is not required, it's compatible with payment apps you already use, and Tax/Tip are calculated based on your subtotal. Fantastic product! Splyt solves the mental math of tax and tip that needs to be included which someone inevitably covers for everyone else. Also love that it links to Venmo and Cash App directly.
