Hi everyone! It's great to be a part of the Product Hunt community and be able to share what I've been working on since December of last year. The one thing you should know about me is that I love grabbing food and drinks with my friends! Whether it be a nice weekend dinner, a late night DoorDash order, or a few beers at the local bar, eating with friends has always been one of my favorite things to do, especially now that restaurants and bars are open again! What I did not love, however, was splitting the bill. There was always someone who didn't order the extra drink or did not have a slice of the pizza that we all shared, so whoever paid the bill always had to do the math to figure out how much to Venmo request everyone. So in December of last year, I decided to start building Spliti: an iOS app that lets you split the bill with friends. I tried my best to build an interface that is intuitive and super quick. I added a few tutorials here and there in case some things are not clear. Regardless, I am open to all the comments and feedback that you have for me! A few more things about Spliti: Spliti works great with digital receipts: DoorDash, Uber Eats, Square or Toast receipts, you name it! Simply take a screenshot of a digital receipt and upload it to get started. Spliti also works with Venmo and Cash App: simply select Request after assigning all the items and Spliti will send a text message to each person with a designated payment link. Spliti allows you to keep track of any receipts that you scanned or were added to. If you created a Spliti, you can mark payments as completed or send reminders to easily keep track of any missing payments. Spliti is definitely something I am gonna use the next time I go out with my friends. Love the feature of being able to upload receipts, and the fact that it's compatible with apps like Uber makes it perfect. Will the app be available for android?

@ishaandixit_ Hi Ishaan! Thank you for your support and feedback. I plan on exploring an Android version after I get a better idea of how usage looks on iOS. I hope that's not a big issue! Android users can still pay out any Venmo/Cash App requests sent to them by a Spliti iOS user since they are delivered via SMS. I'm hoping this helps when it comes to splitting the bill with Android users - they just won't be able to upload/scan their own receipts just yet.
